Happy 2nd Birthday Reece

Happy birthday to our sweet boy! Two years ago our lives changed forever and for the better! Look how much our baby has changed and how big he is!! We are so proud!!

We had a perfect day and a wonderful birthday celebration at Deanna Rose Farmstead. Here are pictures from the birthday party.

Childhood desk

Check out this adorable desk my mom painted for Reece's room. We are doing his toddler room in a monster theme and my mom came up with the idea of painting this desk and having my talented brother draw one of the monsters from his bedspread on it. Ryan also helped out by painting his name on it. I just love that it is a desk my parents had from when we were children and that Reece can pass it down to his children some day. Thank you mom, Toby and Ryan for all your hard work!

There are even cute eyes painted above the storage bin, making it look like the bin is the monsters mouth :)

DIY Upholstered Headboard

We decided to try and make an upholstered headboard and I think it turned out great! Thanks to my handy hubby, we were able to knock it out in a day and the entire project cost less than $100!! Check it out!!

Fun Times

The Cowies came over for dinner last weekend and the Bogarts the weekend before. Here are some fun pictures of Reece with Henry, Evie and Nora.

My dad was having a blast with the boys! Reece of course had to ham it up and make sure Henry was not getting to much of Pops (aka Ho-Ho) time. Look at that smile, so cute!
