6 Month Photos

Reece turns 7 months old on the 18th. Only a few days away and I cannot believe how much he has grown. He is rolling around and playing like crazy! I know crawling is right around the corner.

Our New House

Check out our new house!! Below are some pictures of the exterior, kitchen, upstairs and basement. It is a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom/1 car garage stone home in Old Leawood. It is located between State Line and Lee Blvd on 85th Terrace. We plan to move in right before Thanksgiving and could not be more excited. We plan to convert the upstairs to 2 bedrooms, so we will have a 4 bedroom/3 bath home! Plenty of room for us to grow as a family. Can't wait to have everyone over.

Halloween!!

As most of you know we throw a big Halloween party every year. This one was especially fun because we got to dress Reece as a monkey and he got to see all of his little friends in costumes too! We were his zoo keepers, Aunt Susannah was the Orbit Gum girl, TJ was the striking bachelor and Dan was a gladiator.
Will, the puppy dog and Reece could not really move with what they had on, while best friends Daisy Duck Natalie and Cowgirl Evie were in a serious conversation. The winners of the costume party were the H1N1 couple JR and Kristine. As you can see if was a fun costume party! Thanks to everyone who came over. We had such a great time.

First Milestones...

Here are some recent pictures of Reece. His first winter snow cap and mittens, first laughing spells, first haircut, first foods, and his first dedication. He is so much fun and has such a sweet personality. We feel very blessed and are looking forward to his first holidays!

Friends

We have had a busy couple of weeks. We went to the pumpkin patch and took some cute family pictures. We also had three of my best friends from college visit us and meet Reece. Becky, Tara and Dana it was so great to see you!! Here are some cute pics from the visits and pumpkin patch!

4 Months

Reece turned 4 months on the 18th and it is hard to believe the big personality he already has developed. He is chatting all the time and is very animated when he plays with his toys. He also had his 4 month doctor appointment today. We had a full visit with measurements, shots and the go ahead to start solid foods when we are ready! He is in the 40th percentile in height and weight and the 90th percentile in head circumference.

I also wanted to recognize that my parents celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary last Tuesday. Here is a picture from dinner. I love you mom and dad and am so proud to be your daughter! You are both amazing!! Congrats on this milestone and to many more!!

Our Sweet Baby

Our little angel just gets cuter by the day! His new favorite toy is his exersaucer. Every time he gets in it he acts like it is the coolest thing he has ever seen. He loves standing these days. He actually prefers it over sitting. I have a feeling he may be an early walker. He may even surpass crawling, who knows? His other favorite thing to do now is take a bath. Although, he has always enjoyed bathtime, he really likes looking at his hands and feet now.
Reece is coming up on his 4 month appointment where he will get measurements and shots. We also get to start on solid foods! I am very excited about this. What fun we will have!!
I am looking forward to the change of seasons and all the fun fall clothes and shoes! Reece even got his very own MU onesie from my friend Lauren Martin. Hopefully, we have a little MU tiger in the making :)

Cuter and Cuter...

Reece is getting cuter by the day. He loves to ham it up for the camera. He spends most of his days cooing and smiling at us. We are having so much fun!! Here are some new pictures of Reece. He wore his first pair of shoes last weekend and we had to capture the moment. He stared at them all day. He even has his own Adidas workout clothes for days when we go on walks. I think we may have a soccer player someday :)













Playdates: Reece already has some great friends. Here are some recent playdates with Kari and Lucas Hanks and Kara, Evie and Nora Cowie.

3 Months Old

Reece will be 3 months old on Monday! Everyone says babies grow up so fast and it is true! Reece spends most of his day smiling, cooing and talking to us! He is so much fun and such a good baby. He is even sleeping through the night most of the time. We are truly enjoying every moment. It seems like every day he does something new.

Reece and I went to Ozark over the weekend while Ryan spent the weekend at the lake with some friends. Here are a few pics of Reece. Reece and his friend Ely Hawkins are hanging out in the first picture. The second one is Reece smiling at his Aunt Viva during lunch at the Tea Room.

2 Month Photos

It is hard to believe, but Reece turns 9 weeks old tomorrow. We had his two month pictures taken and had such a blast at the photo shoot! He is quite photogenic and was such a good baby. Below are a few shots.

Reece is doing great! He smile and coos at us every day! Life is good!

1 Month

Reece is 1 month old as of Monday! We saw the doctor on Monday and discovered Reece has reflux. So that is no fun, but he decided to show off for the doctor and reached a big milestone. He rolled over from his belly to his back for the doctor and then again today while on his activity mat. Our little showoff! Of course, I was clapping and Dr Waters was laughing at me! He has also gained a little over a pound since birth. He now weighs 8 lbs 5 oz. Hopefully, he will get to wear some of his 0-3 month clothes, instead of newborn only very soon!

3 Weeks

Reece turned 3 weeks old yesterday and he is growing like a weed! We had my Aunt Viva, my mom and cousins come to see Reece this weekend and had a great time. Here are some pictures of us at Crown Center and a picture of Reece and Ryan relaxing at home.

We are really enjoying our little boy and starting to get to know him better. He definitely keeps us on our toes and awake at night. Hopefully, that will change soon. Otherwise, we are having a great time and enjoying parenthood.
